Gisela Dezillio, our Spirits Specialist and CEO, has been working in the spirits industry for over 16 years, offering excellent service and expertise in whiskey, rum, brandy and agave distillates. After nearly a decade and a half laboring as a Spirit Sommelier at Brandy Library, a pioneering spirits venue in NYC; and becoming the first female spirits specialist in NY, she worked as a Spirits Specialist for WS New York, a Wine Spectator and Whiskey Advocate private club. Following WS, she became Major Food Group's first and only Spirits Specialist before going solo with her own company.
In addition to Brandy Library and WS NY, Gisela taught staff training courses and private tastings for Fine and Rare (now The Flatiron Room - Murray Hill), Carbone, The Grill and The Lobster Club; and offered many drams and knowledge at whiskey-related events such as Whiskey Live, Whiskey Fest, Water of Life and many more.
